Happy Holidays and Warmest Wishes to You!
Happy Holiday Wishes! It’s time to appreciate yourself!
Thank you for being part of my community! I appreciate you. I send my heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all of my incredible friends, clients, business partners, and readers!
I felt a sigh of relief yesterday as schools wrapped up for the winter break and friends and colleagues wound down at work. It’s like we have been ready to let it all go, rest, enjoy what we have, and look forward to a little or a whole lot of unplugging. I am excited to sleep in (I did that this morning!), go hiking, and work on my yoga teaching homework including reading more of these great books. (See picture below.)
Did you know that yoga helps regulate the mind and increase activation of critical brain structures because of the effects on the parasympathetic nervous system? That means you will feel calmer, less stressed, and will sleep better. When you activate your PNS it is easier to be creative, listen to your intuition, increase effectiveness, and develop better relationships.
So what are you waiting for? Come join me for yoga and shake off that caveman brain.

I will be completing 500 hours of YogaWorks teacher training on February 21. As part of that, I’ll be launching a new podcast in February – Yoga Philosophy for Everyday Living - stay tuned!
I also want to share more yoga classes with you. Please take my yoga survey to help me decide what to offer.

This year kind of sucked. For some of us, in tremendously overwhelming ways. For others of us, maybe some inconveniences and lifestyle changes. I have spoken to friends, family, and clients who have all felt depressed at one time or another. You are doing the best you can. If you can’t change your circumstances, you might as well find something that makes you happy.
We all get depressed sometimes, but it’s your ability to bounce-back quicker that leads you to self-actualization. If you stay sad or angry it is hard to make transformational change.
Like yoga, Positive Intelligence increases the grey matter in our brains which leads to increased productivity, creativity, well-being, and better relationships?! Everything has an operating system. Our phones, our computers, our bodies. When was the last time you upgraded your own operating system? This thing called life is indeed easier when we build self-awareness through positivity and routines. Yes, you’ve heard it before. You have to love yourself to love others. But what are you actually doing about it?
BRAIN FITNESS
If you want to be strong and physically fit, you need a workout routine. Are you going to work out once and expect to be in shape a month later? It’s the same thing with our minds. We can’t expect to be mentally fit if we don’t do anything about it.
Team-building exercises are great for a day. Maybe you have results that last a week or two. How about investing in a process to increase your mental fitness with lasting effects for life. I am so glad that I chose to be a Positive Intelligence Pioneer with best-selling author and Stanford lecturer, Shirzad Chamine so I can include the PQ app and methodology in my coaching. Sign up as a team, a group, or individually.
We may have more of the same in 2021. YOU can choose right now to be the change you want to see in the world. The next group starts on January 4. Call me for more information, group rates, or sign up to join us now!
As referenced in my holiday video above, check out the night sky on December 21 when Saturn and Jupiter come closer together than they have in almost 400 years.
Very warmest wishes and onwards to 2021!
